Might anyone be interested in a "non comp" competition? Not sure what to call it, perhaps a "Crawler Rodeo" event. Thinking about a few enjoyable events. How about no gates? Think of a single cone in an AREA with the object being get to the cone and return while staying in bounds, boundaries being a WIDE area. Pick your own route.
And a follow the leader (anyone with a crawler can lead) conga line. Two classes maybe, maybe not. Entry fee is going towards the person who wins. Seeing as how there is no charge to enter you may be looking a a moral victory of sorts. As no scores will be given you can finish in whatever position you feel you earned.
Getting a group to together to enjoy a day of crawling. But looking to get a LARGER number of folks out crawling. And we have a very good location with a beach and lots of rocks and trails within 100 feet of the parking area, and parking for 50 cars (real cars)....in Portland....
Just looking to see if there is going to be enough interest to do this. Just crawling and no pressure to enter comps. Could even be a regular event. Grass roots type of thing. Fun day deal..
Anyone want in? I will post this on another forum also. If there is any response I can set a date soon.

Up on this post. Definitely looking forward to see everyone each unique individual build. As the weather is going to get hotter, I will be providing cold water to everyone that is coming, on me. Thank you for reading

I like this concept of the random pop up rc "event". Once things warm up a little more you will probably see more folks willing to come out. Here anyway we are still low to mid 30s mostly during the day.

I am in Oregon, with no plans to be relocating soon. Go With OREGON one......
