I posted this to the burned nitro thread. First real run of the year. I did some work to it and changed a few things around.

I took the pull start off this truck. Here’s my reason. Every motor I run Traxxas fuel in, I really clean out well when storing for long sets. I put Kroll’s oil in it and really lube stuff up after I clean it. It makes it hard as heck to start.

I replaced a lot of things I’d used off the original chassis. And I stiffened up my rear suspension. It drove good.

Anyways, it the first run of the year for this truck.

I’m hoping to run a bunch this weekend if weather allows. If it rains I’m going to finish my 2.5 build and thread.

 
I would absolutely stop using Kroil penetrant as ARO.. Read the data sheet on it..

I’d strongly recommend that you run a quality fuel (not Traxxas), and an actual after run oil. I do believe you’ll find that with the proper fuel, an ARO won’t even be needed (dependent upon your location)..
