As the cool air slowly warms in the North East, the mysterious entity known as "Darth Racer" makes a slow and almost silent return to an old favorite haunt called rcnitrotalk.com. It has been almost two years since he has visited, but he has been lurking around for the past week and he finally decides to come out of the shadows.
Some of the long time members may remember this nitro-head, especially from appearances at two North East bashes. At the last bash, his Savage SS flew high in the air without fear, until a few simple loose screws blew the diffs and ended it's day.
DarthRacer had shelved his nitro stuff for a year to work on two electric projects which to this day are still un-completed. His recent aquisition of two used Savages, an SS and S25, has brought nitro into the picture again and have been keeping him busy cleaning them up and rebuilding them for the past two weeks.
DarthRacer has decided that he will check this forum again every so often and may even post a message or two from time to time as he sees fit.

So to everyone, friends past present and future, I bid you hello.

Damm dude..................Were the hell have you been?
The sith lord Is still on our planet...

wow its been a long time i do remember you,i've been away my self for a long time....but trying to make time to sniff some nitro welcome back

Wow it ihas been a while!! Nice to see you on the boards!

I've been around, just haven't been here in a while. The forums I've been at the most over the past year or so have been one18th.com, scale4x4rc.us, and rccrawler.com
I did run some nitro stuff a little last summer, but not much.

Do you really want to know how long it's been? My wife had our second daughter last September and she is 8 months old now. I think I stopped posting just before she got pregnant. Maybe now you can see where my time went!! We also moved last summer and the new apt dosen't have much room for the hobby stuff so it sat for a while. I'm trying to get it going again this year and figured this would be a good place to start checking out again.

Wow.
A blast from the past!
Welcome back. There have been some slight changes around here, people come and go, but it's the same old thing and it's good to see you on.

This is freaky - I was just thinking about the Buffalo bash we had up there with Chris and was thinking I haven't seen you around here for a while and wondered what was up.

It's good to see you back man, hows the family?

-Michael

You were gone? Hm. That's what I get for paying attention....

It's good to hear you're alive and well and getting back into the groove. Hope to see you around a bit more.

Thanks for the warm welcome back.
Yes, you will see me around again.
Hows the family? Thanks for asking. My daughters are doing well, the first is almost 3 now and the other will be 1 in September. They keep mommy busy for sure. On another personal note, I found out recently that my job is going to re-locate us to the Charlotte NC area!!! Good Bye Buffalo!!! I know from way back there were a few RCNT memebers from the VA/NC/SC area. Maybe we'll get a chance to bash together.

Good to see you again!
Your a welcome sight.
I'm glad to see you are taking a job relocation with open arms. It can be a truly stressful situation if its unwanted.

Hope to see more of you.

As Eddy said, I too hope to see more of ya man!

For the VA/NC/SC area - yes there are still a lot of members in that area. Maybe we could get a bash going around there... I'd try my best to make it there as it'd only be a 5-6 hour drive for me.

That would be sweet. I will probably be down there by the end of summer or early fall this year. There are two nice tracks down there in the Charlotte area. One of them is called "The Farm 2". They host a lot of national races there and I think they have camping nearby. I'll be checking it out as soon as I can for sure.

The farm 2 is a strong candidate to hold the upcoming 1/8 worlds. That would be a blast to watch!

Job relocation with open arms? Hell Yeah! I've wanted to move to NC for years now. This is my chance to live in an awesome area with a good job AND have my employer foot the bill to move me and the family down. We're ready to go!
