Thanks Joe. Yeah that's some serious velcro, I can pick my whole 450 heli up by the pack 
I'm going to an indoor fly in tomorrow night, those guys all do combat. It looks really fun, but tough on planes LOL. I really like the look of the tires, I think they fit the scale of the truck better than the stockers, the stockers looked too wide for the track width of the truck personally, just looked odd.
To be honest, knowing I could use my 3s heli packs with the Savage, and it was bigger and could handle rougher terrain, it was a really hard choice for me. In the end, the MERV being an older platform and having more aftermarket support in place is all that really won me over. I think they're both great, and wish I could afford to have one of each.
