That thing is going to shred that tiny spur gear.
He needs a custom spur gear made for that ASAP

The dual motor car with estimated 30hp snapped titanium dog bones and pins. Or if not those it would shred the diffs.
This is all for YT views and subscribers unfortunately.

Tbh my amateur eyes wouldn't have even seen the faults yo lads have mentioned, but I did think it was gonna be a lot of strain for one single gear to take from all 4 motors!
Still, that chassis and the parts he has fitted looks good quality at least to me, and we'll out of my price range haha 😄

I can't listen to the audio, but how in the world is he getting 15hp each out of those motors? A 2 cell powered brushless is around .75 hp roughly, is he using a 16 cell battery for each one?

I didnt think about it until you said it but you're right that thing isnt anywhere near 60HP. At best The quad motors are putting out somewhere between 35-40HP collectively. Thats assuming that each of those 1650kV motors on 8S consumes somewhere in the neighborhood of 6500-7500 watts each. Castle doesn't tell us the wattage ratings on their motors but a Hobbywing 1650kV on 6S is rated at 5700W. The really big TPPower motors can get up to around 9000W each so going somewhere in the middle of that (which I think is being a bit generous) at 7500W is only about 40HP. If you calculate for 7000W each then you end up at about 37.5HP total.

Yeah, not to mention consumption != output, due to voltage sag, motor efficiency, etc. Been reading up a ton on this today. Reality might be closer to 25-30 hp with those factors considered, maybe even less.

Yeah, theres definitely other factors that come in to play too but I think its pretty clear that its no where near 60HP. Id like to know how they came up with that number.
