I had a bunch of extra Slash parts, and when I spotted this Pro-Line '56 Ford body I knew I had to build up one.
Basic Slash LCG chassis, shocks and Velineon motor, esc and radio.
Aluminium shock towers, front bulkhead, C blocks, rear carriers and shock caps.
RPM a arms and gearbox case, Speedtreads tires and Pro-Line body mounts.
Not sure of the paint combo to use, I'm leaning towards a metallic black/anodized red two tone but that may change.
Wheels were chromed with Molotow liquid chrome, great stuff!
Still haven't decided on what blower/hood scoop to use.
The car runs great, with these tires it's a real drift monster!
Masking and paint come next...

I'll be watching this one. She gonna look killer.

I love that body!
Copy that, iconic design and cult status
Pro-Line had to do some strange proportional changes to get it to fit the Slash chassis, but it blends well and keeps that authentic look.
The wheel wells are huge, probably be able to fit just about any kind of tires.
It's made of really thick poly, and was a real bear to cut out.
This would make a great Drag Slash body. Show up the C10 guys.

Oh, Yeah bozo. Really great application. Old school all the way. :thumbs-up: :thumbs-up:

Got to get me one of these. Had a full size 1:1 '55 F100 back 1965. Reverse chrome rims, floor shift. Hauler for my scrambles motorcycle. Was my fav ever ride. F100's forever and you keep the legend alive with this RC. Cheers. 'AC.
