3905 reverse

the nitro guys say reverse takes alot of power from the Tmaxx. Me E-maxx is set up with the mamba maxx and lipos. should I do a FOC conversion or is my tranny just as good with reverse.. I use it occasionally what to do?

Uh, your electric bro. Nothing to change/engage in the tranny. The motor just turns the other way. You should be all good.

One thing to keep in mind though, is that it's harder on diffs and what not to rip in reverse. It stresses the cases in the opposite direction. This would probably lead to premature wear and tear if you did it often.

i figured as much. I have my esc set for minimum power in reverse. Yet another reason why I should have never ask the question to start with
