3 speed conversion

For all intents and purposes, if you converted your maxx to a big block, .21, you should also be able to fit a big block .26. I believe the signature size is the same, just the internals are different.

That being said, I dont see why not.

yes, it should be able to fit your .26 But just a little word of advice.. Unless your a street racer with your maxx.. I wouldnt waste my money on that 3 speed conversion. 1. It will go way to fast. 2. If you crash.. You should buy a new tmaxx. and 3. You wont have that much difference in offroad racing competivly. It would never get to 3rd gear unless you have a 150 ft. straight... Just my :2cents: Later man

It's says it's for a 21 because it isn't recommended for anything smaller than a 21. A smaller engine won't have the necessary hp to make it work effectivly.

As previously stated, unless you are a street racer with a lot of room to run, the 3-speed is a waste of money.

For bashing, you lose your speed and rarely get to the topside of 2nd gear.
For offroad racing, you rarely if ever see enough straight away fo pick up the topside of 2nd gear let alond bust into 3rd.

If you want to spend your money on something worthwhile...look into another area of your truck that needs upgrading.

And to answer your original question...YES.

The .26 engine is a .21 bored out to make a .26 displacement. As Christian mentioned, the outside is roughly the same, it's the guts that are different.
