3.3 tranny

ok , I have a .15 max converted to 3.3 engine The tranny in it has been changed to FOC, and I am wondering what is the difference in the tranys will the 3.3 work on the .15 chassis ? Or is it a lot of moding to do .would not mind modding just nowhere to do it .no garage ,basement or shed.

Not sure it will work because i believe u need the 3.3 spec driveshafts on the 3.3 tranny which are longer than the older versions. But with out converting to the extended chassi i dont think it will work. U can always go on ebay and buy chassi, tranny,linkage and something else for 90 and convert it all to extended. If u did u would not be dissapointed.

Nope wont work without extended chassis and 3.3 short shafts. Good news is you can get the extended chassis and shafts off ebay cheap!!

Thats what i was saying. buy the extended chassi,might come with center shafts,also tranny linkage and servo mounts for 90 shipped. Then buy the 3.3 axles and carriers and u will gain length+width= a ton of stability. Makes it a whole new truck. Oh and u also need the braces underneath that connect to the chassi and front and rear skid plates. Need to be the longer 3.3 braces,but think thats it
