Hey Guys,

Have any of you guys out there heard about and/or use the 23mm hub adapters from Dace? I have a bunch of 23mm Proline setups from my Tmaxx and it would be nice if I could still use those wheels instead of going out and buying a whole new set up. Do you think it is worth it? Thanks

Tom

If they didn't work with 23mm rims from Proline I would contact their support. They should fit.

Actually I have not yet purchased the adapters for the CRT yet. I was wondering if they would be worth my while to purchase them so that I could get use out of my still very useable 23mm setups. Sorry, if I came across confusing... sometimes I type faster than I think.. .sorry.:wasted:

hell yes get them....fewer stripped hubs....more applied torque at the wheels.....and you have a few sets of wheels for them already...at least one set anyway.....

I have a set of Dace 23mm adapters and they work just like they are supposed to. They are not for the CRT but i assume they all work the same. They are of high quality. The part I like about the set I have is that while it's for a 23mm rim, the outer nut is only 22mm which means I had a socket that fit it.

Cool. I was hoping that they would be something that I could use. There are so many products on the market today, you never know what you are going to get. I don't know to much about Dace, but the parts looked of good quality. I have the proline adapters for the Tmaxx and they worked great, but I still have a bit to spend on the Maxx before it is race ready. In fact now that I have the CRT, I may just use the Maxx to bash around with. I have like 4 different sets of 23mm wheel/tire combos that work well for the track I run depending on the condition, including a set of never run bowties. Besides.. it will also alow me to buy other than ofna wheels since the 17mm is all Ofna. I hate it when companies make you buy only from them. The 23mm will open my tire horizons a bit more. LOL I will look into getting them for the CRT then. When I was reading about them, they said they bolt right to the axel... is there a mod that needs to take place or is it just a bolt on part? Thanks guys for the info.

Tom

I would imagine it is just a bolt-on part. The dace adapters I have just bolted right on to the axle. Nice part is that if I throw a wheel nut, the adapter won't fly off as well.

I have ordered the Dace 23mm hub adapters for the X1 CRT. They should be here in a couple of days. I will let you guys know how they work. Take care

Tom
