hey guys, got my LRP 28 in my revo and it just wants to wheelie none stop still on 17/36 and it only does 74kph. i want it going faster and still keep the wheels coming up a bit but not like crazy all the time lol.

so will 21/36 mesh alright? or should i go with 20/36? id like to get over 80-90kph at the end of the day. not sure if 21/36 will do it or not but i dont think i can go much lower than 36t spur on the stock revo slipper?

Well from what i understand for every 1 tooth difference on the bell you gain or lose 2.5 mph depending on up or down on the teeth. So from 17T to 21T on the bell you should gain around 10mph. I dont think that will be too tall of a gearing for the lpr.28. Just make sure your pitch on the bell matches the pitch on the spur. I believe its a .1mm pitch right?

I'm not sure. I'm just hearing about this pitch business so I shall sus that out today.

A 21T Mod 1 bell is hard to find. If you did, you most likely wouldn’t have enough adjustment on the engine mount to fit it with a 36T spur without altering the mount or raising the transmission. 21/36 would be a very tall ratio and although the .28 is strong, it will most likely struggle with it.
I would start with a 20T bell which is easy to acquire and work on fitting it.

yeh the 20t racers edge is pretty cheap and looks like it will do the job well enough. i have 2x14t 1x17t and with the 20t that will give me a good range. also have 36,38,40t spur gears handy.
