2 exc ruckus to rebuild

I’m going to start a rebuild on my exc ruckus soon. 1 is nitro and the other electric. They sat in storage for years on the bottom of the stack of all my rc cars and they are in bad shape. Moisture rusted the gears, dog bones …. Etc. the gas tank turned to crumbs lol. Going to take a ton of parts so I think my only path is used parts but I’m gun shy of eBay. Anyone have a line on used or cheap parts? I want to bash them so I know that cheap parts will break but I enjoy working on them as much as bashing.

The nitro one is a nitro stampede. Being long discontinued don't break either chassis or the rear skid. They are hard to find.

Loving the og mamba system. I still have that same one I've beat to death multiple times.

I’ve never ran the castle in the truck, it was for my pan car but it was to much. Went back to my Novak and twisters set up for consistency on the ole girl. I’ll be putting something with lower kv in the ruckus for bashing and save the castle for probably a paper weight lol it will look good in the toolbox.

Other than eBay, I can't help with a parts source for the older and less well known trucks, but do look forward to seeing your progress.
