Savage XL to Zenoah 23cc or 29cc Gas

Does anyone have experience with converting a Savage XL 4.9 to a Zenoah Gas 23cc-29cc with the RC4ME kit? Does the stock drivetrain handle? What additional parts would I need other than the kit? The kit is made for an Octane, but i've seen people convert regular Savage XL's with it. Any thoughts would help. Thank you.
