Well, the verdict is in, my wife now 'officially' hates Sears. While she didnt care for it before, she can't stand it today!

We went over the weekend and on 2 occasions I managed to do some damage. First on the list, the infamous SnowBlower (or SnowThrower in other parts of the country)

This is the SnowBlower

Then, I scammed another KICKASS product for myself and put it under the, 'Just think what I can do with these' category. And when that didnt work, I told her, 'This is my Christmas Gift' hehehe. Second on the list, the 19.2v Cordless tool kit. Comes with a wheeled chest (not in the pics), 2 batteries, Charger, the Laser Level (kickass!), Stud Finder, 50 piece drill bit kit, Drill/Driver, Trim Saw, Fluorescent Light, Reciprocating Saw, Nailer/Stapler.

This is the kit!

Needless to say, she hates the place! lololol

Sears is too much fun!

Christian, I am a pro woodcrafter and contractor by trade! If you like sears your gonna love this place even better,I dont know your area , but there is a new store opening in Albany, I hope for the sake of your marriage you arent that close to Albany! If your in to woodworking at all, or just a weekend warrior you will forget about sears when you walk in to this place! The store itself is really worth seeing, I have to drive an hour to get to the one here in Florida, but always worth the trip! I love this place!
WARNING: when you walk in to this store, your gonna get wood! bring a hat to hold in front of you!

check em out here!

Sounds like a question for Emeril Laggasi!

I take it by the title of this post you got your new house.
Congratulations!

LMAO The first thing I purchased for my house was a cordless drill. I think its in our blood. I still have it after 9 years. Buy good buy once. I wanted to get a Snow Blower and still do but for some reason I just can't justify it. Then I decided to get a riding mower but I couldn't find one large enough to do my yard that was within my budget.

Lets see know,
I hope you have a cool 20-30K in the bank for all the bullshit stuff you will need to get like furniture, curtains, electronics and all the other non essentials that go along with the first house. For some reason all the old stuff thats been collected over the years just doesn't seem to work in a new house. Don't fear, just send your wife and mother in law to sears for a day! they wont spend to much. Well see who dislikes Sears

lol - Actually, we already went and bought all the beds, Fridge, couches and now are getting ready to price up the carpet and paint. Things left;

Dinette Set
Dining Room Set
Formal Living Room Set
Theatre furniture for the basement
65" Hitachi Widescreen HDTV

In the spring is going to be;
French Doors to patio from Dining Room (e•z access to Jacuzzi)
Jacuzzi
Gazebo (enclosed for Jacuzzi in winter)
New Driveway and sidewalks all the way around (what my inlaws do)

So we are pretty much in for a ride. Oh, and the kitchen is going to be redone next year sometime. Hopefully 2 years from now or I wont be able to buy ANY more R.C. poop hehehehe

And yes, we got the house. Just waiting on an agreeable closing date now. Should be done in the next week or two. We already got the 'clear-to-close'.

Is that you NM??? Thanks for the link!

Degum a carb - lots of GumOut!!!!

Congrats on the house man.....Soon as the GF and I are married were going house hunting....she doesn't want to "own" anything until she has the ring (guess she wants to make sure half of its hers...lol)

We still havent decided on a date but she already knows how tool crazy I am. When we go to the strip mall she goes clothes shopping....I go tool shopping and do ALOT of drooling at Home Depot. My x-mas wish list always has 4-5 different tools on it, usually small stuff only because I dont have room for the big boyz yet like a bandsaw, standing drill press, lathe, table saw, etc etc

haha - u guys crack me up. i can just picture christian walking around the house with a big ol toolbelt on, saying to the wife "come on bitch, break something" har har har

yeah with a drill on either side, roofing kneepads, huge timberland boots, acetyline tank on his back, leather welders jacket, torch in hand, helmet cocked back, and all with no pants on either.... guess he would call that the "plumbing tool"...

I crack myself up...LMFAO
