13cells on evx2?

Is it possible to do...or ok to run 13cells on a evx2? I run a 14.4v Dewalt setup and one of my promatch's has a funky cell in it once again...its pretty much slowing down the pack creating sluggish performance. I would like to just take off the cell (its at the dead end of the pack, last cell with negative wire attached), and run one 6cell pack with the good 7cell pack. Its that fine for it or possible?

It's possible to run without the dead cell, but NiMH packs are cheap so why not replace the whole pack? Running without cell won't help your performance.

I wanna run it this way until I can come up with the money to buy a whole new 7cell pack...I don't wanna send this one back in for cell replacement for a second time so it can develop a balance issue again.
