It SAYS they do, as when I add multiples to my cart-none come up backordered/out of stock, but I cannot COUNT how many times Amain has fukt me with that noise… One of the reasons I buy on a VERY limited scale from them as compared to how much business they USED to get from me..

I'd steer clear of refurbished electronics.
RC electronics or electronics as a whole? I buy refurbished phones all the time if my previous one dies. Also with laptops from my buddy that does PC repairs and RC stuff. Never had an issue with refurbished phones or laptops. But can't talk for refurbished RC electronics.

Least we many charger options now & don't have to charge off a 12v car battery anymore.

True. I’ve been using dedicated power supplies since the 80’s though lol. Only time I use AC is if I absolutely have to.

I couldn't risk a refurbished charge device for a lipo. 🔥

I personally see no issue with buying refurbished/remanufactured electronic components. PROVIDED they still have a warranty, and are from the original manufacturer, and they are a REPUTABLE one. Junsi absolutely IS imo, -however….. Read the fine print; when amain sells their stuff “scratch and dent”, that’s “refurbished” they’re selling “as is”, with no leads, no balance boards, possible scratches, dings, wear & tear, and NO WARRANTY… That being said, the price has to be pretty damned low for me to jump on one.

True
I wouldn't either.
Keep in mind that a factory rebuilt/remanufactured/refurbished part see’s far more stringent quality control before being boxed up, and shipped out. As in every single one is tested.. When it’s fresh off the assembly/production line, MOST manufacturers pull ONE, or maybe TWO from a particular run (of 50-1000 units 😳), and send to standards/QC to assure proper operation of the entire run.
