1 pc or 2pc engine mount?

Hi, i just got a mbx-5 from bigmo and it doesn't have an engine mount. Is the 1 piece mount worth the extra $? or shoul di stick with the 2 piece for $24? I need to know because i plan on driving tomorrow... ITS SUMMER!!!!!!! WOOOOHOOOOO

What a one piece mount does is give more rigidity when accelerating. I know my serpent isnt a 1/8 buggy but when I went with the monoblock, it did lessen the amount of twising on the chassis from the engine's torque.

A chassis will flex under hard acceleration. How much more from a big block? I say to get it if you have access to one.

and that would take like 4 days and it was overpriced. I'm fine with a 2 piece. I always have been.

ima get the .27 (green heatsink if i remeber :smoke: ) it has a listed HP of 3.1 ... gotta have 3 horses in my 2-speed violater!

Picco 27R? Yes I have heard of it. Green Head. Paul coleman uses it in his Hyper 7. This mill should fit the one peice mount for the X5 so long as the crankcase is not bigger than the standard 21 mill.
