Hello, I'm thinking of putting 1/8th buggy wheels on my HPI Nitro MT.
Does anybody knows which adaptors to use?

I think I saw a set of adaptors to do this, but it cost like $60 or so...
Perhaps there's a cheaper way to do it?

HPI has 1/8 buggy wheel adaptors for the Savage, but the Savage has 5mm axles while the NMT has 4mm ones.

Thanks in advance for the help.

That might not be a good idea. The buggy wheels and adapters will be much stronger then the 4mm axles. I would rather the weak link be the plastic rim. IMO

Take a look at WPR's site...I know he used some buggy slicks to run on his NMT.

i don't remember the exact link, but they're on there somewhere. Good luck
