Hey guys. my question today is a simple one that i dont know the answer to, whats the differences between the 1/10 scale and 1/8 scale rc's? i know the obvious one that they are different sizes but what about performance? durability? handling? etc... Anything you can think useful to know before purchasing one or the other let me know. thanks
:)

The first thing you would need to decide is what do you want to do with it. Onroad, offroad, car, truck (stadium, monster), buggy, truggy, 2X4, 4X4? There is 1/8 and 1/10 for all the 1's mentioned. Race or bash or a mix? before we can help you decide what is right for you we need to figure out what kind of driver you are and what your looking to do with it.

I think I'm looking for a 4x4 buggy. Off road. It'll be mostly bashing and maybe some racing(just with friends and at a self made track.) I just wanted to know the major differences. Thanks.

I'm looking at a Kyosho DBX 2.0

I mentioned this on your thread about the Kyosho DBX 2.0 but really 1/8 or 1/10 really is just personal preference unless you want to race. For example not to much racing going on for 1/10 scale 4WD buggies. 1/10 scale 2WD buggies is mostly what is raced in 1/10 scale buggies. 1/8th scale buggies are the opposite. Then again every track is different so if you want to race or think you might want to race I would see what they mostly race at your track. Otherwise it doesn't matter much other than 1/8th scale can handle terrain a little better simply cuz its bigger.
