2 questions, I have been trying to find a decent set of shocks for my storm, I remember seeing a set of hot bodies shocks but dont think they were for a storm, does any one have any sugestions on anything that will work well? or a direct link maybe!

while in this process I will also be rebuilding the stock set and need to know what weight oil would be good, anybody? Thanks for the help!

for weights 40/40 40/35 seem to work good for most setups..

as for shocks check into mugen or kyoshos (if they fit) - thicker rods

I upgraded to the mugens. Man these things are bullet proof and come with some nice features like dust boots for the shafts. I'm running the blue coils with 35 weight in the front, and 40 in the rear.

Where did u get those Mugens? I did not see them at Tower,Stormer, or Horizon.

nitrohouse.com - or better yet ebay, peeps seem buy new kits and part them out

I too would also recommend the Mugens, they are a very well built shock with a good design. The most durable I have found also.

I too was lookin for an upgrade, but for and OFNA ultra. I upgrade what I had to suit my track conditionswhich was really inexpensive. They sell they same as what I have now in a kit for 30-35 buck a pair. Titanium 3.5 shafts, HD ends, HV,.....I drilled my diaphragms holes out 50% more and run 60wt f/r with k2 springs. I like it....By the way, nothing wrong with the Storm shocks, just play with the setup. Springs/Oil and upgrade to titanium shafts. Good Luck

I'm just about to buy the ofna supershocks. They are like $65 at unlimited engineering. I've seen them on my friends buggy and they are just extremely durable and very springy. Ill let you know how they are after i test them out a bit.
