Hello all

I just bought full set for the truck, the stuff that came with the truck was cheap crap

I bought this:-

HOBBYMATE Flysky FS-GT3

Dynamite Large Scale Safety Kill Switch that's works fine

new servos
1 60kg steering metal gear
1 35kg for trottle metal gear
brand new 6v battery 1600mah

All leads have ferrite blocks on them just before receiver

So my issue is after I started my rc I started to drive and after afew seconds it losses signal no more the 4-5 meters away the kill switch cut the engine thankfully

I didn't have time today to look into it
I'm not sure if I got a brownout or just a simple signal loss

But a brownout? On brand new transmitter/ receiver i just got today

.. so strange

Welcome to RCT

While not commonplace, It is not unheard of to get a bad receiver fresh from the package.

Luckily, receivers for the GT3 are really inexpensive, so trying a second one won't be too costly.

What 1/5 are we talking about here?
I would make sure the antenna is poking out of the rx box an inch or so at least, and make sure it isn't broken or severed.
You should be running a 2s battery, 6v seems small
All these were mentioned I just want to re-iterate
One thing I will warn you of is that dynamite kill switch. When you start having trouble starting that car, unplug the kill switch and see if that works. The dynamite I had gave me so much grief I will never buy a $20 dynamite kill switch EVER.

It depends on the servos, if they can take 7.4v or not. But a BEC could take care of that. But you and Certified make a good point. The signal would be better with a little more voltage to the Rx.

We really need to know what truck were workin' with here. My Dirty30 uses a 2s battery for example. 6V would work but the servos would be slow.
