TAYLOR 71 in 12s OUT

I’m building my kraken VESLA 71 , switching the 12s set up to a beast of insanity , costly endeavor , but I’m getting rid of a lot of stuff I don’t use anymore to help cover the costs, that is , if there’s anything left after the grand kids get done grabbing stuff , plus I’m working part time on weekends to make this happen, here’s where I’m at as of now , got the new servo mount and battery box kit from kraken put in ,, bling !! Bling !!! Got the big bore tranny case and the big bore gears in , backbone gears to add once I make the big purchase , I already had the Taylor chassis gear plate and kraken arms and carriers so I’m gettn close but I won’t complete this thing tI’ll I get done walleye fishing this winter then in the spring I’ll be ready to shake the neighborhood

I would have thought the 12s setup would have been more powerful and faster ??
What's the reason you're removing the electric setup I'm curious?

I’ve always wanted the 71 , I have a vekta with the 12s system and the 8s I had in the VESLA was weak to say the least , my 46 VESLA is as fast as the 12s or very close , at 68 years old , this will be my last 5 scale build , and I’m not messing around on it at all , it’s about time I give up a couple 5 scales to sell I geuss

I got started on things , found out I got the wrong MOD killswitch , I looked them up and there’s a freeeeeekn phone # !!! I called and ,,,, A GUY ANSWERED THE PHONE !!! Wow !! I told him I purchased this switch kit last year and it’s just been sitting since , he explained what my problem was and told me to send him the switch and he will just trade me for the one I needed , never mentioned a receipt or nothing, great service to say the least , WOW ! MOD !!!!!

I really can say I’ve owned all there is to own in the rc addiction world ,, that being said , I’ve never had so much fun than I have with this thing. , the Taylor 71 is a great fit for the VESLA and the drivetrain components that have been bullet proofed by Taylor and kraken together , and also backbone , you really can use all it has and the drivetrain holds up. , sod thrown, 60mph , wheeling machine that is a insane RC driving exsperiance for sure , it just takes getting the right parts makes allllll the difference folks
