1/16 himoto buggy

i just got a 1/16 himoto buggy and just can't seem to get it running!! i have gotten the card started, wheels running but the remote doesn't seem to be working, the lights on the remote do light up but thats it, can someone PLEASE HELP!!!

Did you turn the power on to the receiver / buggy itself?

funny!

but yes, the car was on and tires spinning but the tires wont turn, we were thinking maybe the batteries in the remote are not brand new? could that make a difference?

Yeah, and make sure you have fresh batteries or the pack is fully charged on the RX as well.
