I bought this body thinking it was a 1/24 scale but WRONGGGGG.
Perfect time to start another, I sure could use a free Futaba.... :D

it was the day i painted it, it only lasted till about 10 seconds after the photo lol

You're in for a long wait my friend, home owners insurance is due and so is my truck oil change.
 
Thank bud. I really struggling with it, the walls of the aluminum sticks are so thin, it melts when I try to use low temp aluminum welding rod.
Solder won't stick either.
 
The aluminum sticks I bought are actually square tubing so it melts very easy because the walls are so thin. They don't melt with my soldering iron.
I'm going to mess with soldering a couple scrap pieces tomorrow. I may not have cleaned the joint up enough to stick.
I'll buy some tin-silver or tin zinc tomorrow and mess with it.
I'm afraid I may have bit off more than I can chew on this one.
As you can see the bed is all bolted up because I used two part epoxy and then bolted it all together.
The headache rack is what is going to be tough.
