General RC Information
I rarely use box-art for paint and just wing it. I was going to use one of the vintage LeMans motors that I have, but seeing how much they go for these days, I decided to keep them out of any cars and just bought a new brushless Kyosho motor. This was my first build since my Ultima in 1987, so it was so cool to relive my youth in this build. This one broke the seal and I started buying a bunch of RC cars again. I tried all sorts of paint pens to mark the tires, but it just would not stay on the tires. I eventually changed the wheels out for black, which looks much better in my opinion. I have a GPS speed track attached with Velcro to the rear of the body. She clocked in at 38 MHP with a 28T pinion on 3S. I didn't want to push my luck, so I left it alone. You can't keep the front wheels down if you punch the throttle. She's also a little dirty in these pictures.
Enjoy!
