Just say no to glitching

January 15, 2005

The bottom of your receiver case is a good home for sand, dirt, rocks, and dust, and since receivers are not completely sealed, it isn’t hard for this kind of debris to make it in. Junk in the bottom of your receiver case can spell disaster if left untreated. The debris can make contact with the receiver’s circuit board and short out the components, creating radio interference or glitching.

Pull your receiver apart every few races and clean it out. A simple dump and swipe with a clean bristle brush will do the trick and help to eliminate radio interference.
