good stuff. got any more pics for us? how about the engines? huh, huh, i wanna see some big blocks!

Ya mean like these: (the heads are gonna hafta be milled some, then, re-anodized bright red. If the engines are mounted side-by-side, approx. 15% of the head will need to be removed. If they're mounted in a "V" configuration, a certain amount will have to be milled to clear the body.)

WOW, now THAT'S what I'm talking about!!! I'm stunned. When it's done, you need to submit it to an R/C magazine. It needs to be seen. Beautiful work RC Jack. Just beautiful.

Does it actually run?
It looks great. I dont get rc nitro but i think it deserves a spot in rc driver.

if you look at his other thread about pie wagon, there are video links in it. both trucks are pretty cool. i think you should submit it to xtreameRC when you have both done. I'm sure you would get a couple page feature. lord knows your work is worthy of it.

Thanks, sweetdiesel. BTW, as good as those wheels/rims look on PIE WAGON, I scrapped them after I made the ones for Donut Patrol and put the black ones on PIE WAGON. They almost made great coozies. Now, I hafta make new ones that are even better.

Damn dude, that is awesome. I need to come over to this part of the forum more often. I have just enough patience to keep my rc's running.

thats one broken dogbone in picture 5 down the bottom. i like that last body shell though.

There's no broken anything on it! If you are referring to the piece hanging down directly beneath the right rear shock, toward the center, that's a wiring conduit, (notice the wires exiting from it).

yeah does all that work actually produce something other than a really intricate shelf model????? C'mon it just sits there lookin pretty right...all the machining is a lie and you really painted a revell model of the gravedigger w/ some chrome paint to get that......

Nah, it doesn't run at all. :hammer: I haven't run it this year yet, cuz there are no brakes on it.

These are early shakedown runs that I made: (to see what falls off  )

Not much of an update, but....a semi-finished caliper. A little shaping, sanding & polishing, and they'll be done.
