I had a Smiley face portable 8 track player. It had a T handle to carry it with. When you pushed on the handle it would change tracks.

A 3 speed Schwinn with a Banana seat and a 3 foot sissy bar. (Babe Magnet)

Getting all hot and bothered watching Angy Dickinson in Police Woman and Lindsy wagoner in the Bionic woman.

Maryanne on Gilligans Island (Not Reruns) We wont go there.

Now those were the days!

I had an Apollo 5 speed. (with the big U shifter)
Bringing back memories.

See, Monkey's cutting more into my genre. The little rubber thing on your Swatch was a Swatch Guard. I had 3 or 4. And I don't think I've even heard a watch tick so loud. I had parachute pants. And a mullet. I had a tail. 3 earrings. Ripped jeans on purpose. Bleach spattered Chuck Taylors. Pepe jeans. Acid washed. Chess King ruled.
I remember Sara Jessica Parker on "Square Pegs" along with Jamie Gertz. I remember totally not understanding the Dead Kennedys and Black Flag. I remember seeing "The Wall" at the Midnight Movie once when I was stoned and realizing it totally made sense. And seeing it once when I was straight and feeling stoned when I left. I remember going to a Genesis concert with my older brother and then killing pitchers afterward. Only to have to go take my SAT 4 hours later. And I had an Evil Kneivel stunt cycle.....

The first big change in NYC in the 70's was the disco craze.
