You are driving down the road in your car on a wild, stormy night, when you pass by a bus stop and you see three people waiting for the bus:

1. An old lady who looks as if she is about to die.
2. An old friend who once saved your life.
3. The perfect partner you have been dreaming about.

Which one would you choose to offer a ride to, knowing that there could only be one passenger in your car?

This is a moral/ethical dilemma that was once actually used as part of a job application. You could pick up the old lady, because she is going to die, and thus you should save her first. Or you could take the old friend because he once saved your life, and this would be the perfect chance to pay him back. However, you may never be able to find your perfect mate again.

The candidate who was hired (out of 200 applicants) had no trouble coming up with his answer. He simply answered: "I would give the car keys to my old friend and let him take the lady to the hospital. I would stay behind and wait for the bus with the partner of my dreams."

Sometimes, we gain more if we are able to give up our stubborn thought limitations. Never forget to "Think Outside of the Box."


....HOWEVER....
The correct answer is to run the old lady over and put her out of her misery, have sex with the perfect partner on the hood of the car, then drive off with the old friend for a few beers.

This is so simple bro....THe friend...even if you didn't assert that he "saved your life"(which would make it that much easier)! The attempt @ logic is this...THe old Lady...She's exactly that...Old and going to die sooner that you(assuming natural causes of course). The "perfect partner" without godlike psychic, The Ideaologie in any literal, Philosophical or even MetaPhysical context is rediculous. Like the idealogie of "perfection" itself. One can go through 20+ partners in a liftime, but a great and true friend is a gift that not all will be blessed with.

First, I never talked poop about you or anyone else anywhere.

Second, you're about as nonthreatening to me as can possibly be.

Third, big words don't mean poop when the useage of those words points out the fact that 1) you really don't get the point of the question and 2) you're only trying to impress us with them.

Forth, you don't know poop about me.

Fifth, reread my original post. I said post, not poster.

The answer you provided (in your original post) was a complete denial of the question. Whether that situation would actually happen is not important. But, your remarks to the hypothetical question say volumes about yourself. I guess that all the poop that was said in your regards in those other threads was true.

You shouldn't have posted the answer. It would have been interesting to see what everyones answer to this one really was.


My answer would have been to grab the perfect women and leave the other two.My reasoning behind this is that if your old buddy is a truly your friend he'll understand and won't think twice about it. As for the old women well....it's her own fault for being out in the rain while she's sick and therefore is not my problem.

Ummmm.....How did I get caught up in this? Please re-read from the beginning and understand that nothing other than my answer to the riddle was posted by me, yet the quote above leads me to believe you think I have a problem with you. There's obviously some confusion here. Please read the thread from the top.

Error - . It's my B-day tomorrow and I'm getting to bed early as We're going Fishing and Bird hunting up North, then we're gonna Set the town on fire tomorrow evening. My job stress @ times is incredibly stressfull(no excuse for me going off of course) and I was tired and missed the bottom of NitroManiacs post some how. Hence the reason I replied the way I did in my first post. I can't stand it when people throw out the "big words" line(@times) whether on life or the net but no biggie. It doesn't take a rocket science to c the Vibe of your response to me and I went off on ya. I apologize for responding in the manner I did. Unlike some that I've seen in my years on the net, I don't get off on argueing with persons on the net(or in life). Trying to degrade them(make them feel less of an intelliect etc) @ every opportunity etc. It's often Hatefull BS, insecurity and Ego....period.
