Tekno RC never released an ET48 2.1 revision on their truggy. They went straight from a 2.0 to the 2.2 truggy that was released on in Nov 2024. Wife said, "Just get the new truggy." I surely would have felt guilty spending the money after we had just spent $$$ on furniture.
I kept my eyes open for a used 2.0. I skipped over a few ET48 2.0 platforms that were being sold. Kicked myself for letting one go that was barely used. Well, this
"low use" 2.0 slider, upgraded with 2.2 spindles & carriers, showed up on the radar. After four weeks, the priced dropped and I just knew it was now or never to make my owning a Tekno ET48 dream come true.
I always talk about how much I love new kits to build and shy away from RTRs when possible. The front and rear clips were taken off for shipment and will give me some wrenchin' time while I check things over and maybe setup things differently.
