My Triple X is having some issues. I took it with me to the great state of TN this past weekend and had some good fun flying up and down the hill with it but since yesterday it makes a terrible grinding noise almost like something is dragging on the concrete and I have lost a lot of power. Any suggestions? I have my thoughts but I would love some of yours...

that seems to me to be a gear mesh issue - most likely in the diff? have u checked the diff? make sure it is tight and not grinding?

:boxing: I havent checked it yet but that was my first stop. Think it oculd be just loose or dead? The car moves but lost almost 90% of its power

Remember - KISS
Keep It Simple Stupid

Always check the obvious first.

Is the engine putting out the correct amount of power? i once had a similar problem - tried everything, then realized the carb was only opening about 20%. remove the air filter, check to see that the carb opens fully.

Then if thats okay, check the drivetrain. roll the truck on the ground, give it a good push....does it stop quickly, or roll for a bit? make sure the brake isnt grabbing at all. after all the simple things have been checked - then start on the tough stuff, such as the diff. do u know how to check it to see if its loose?
