What linkages? Where are you breaking the bell cranks? Dynamite had a set of aluminum bell cranks, they're hard to find just like the rest of their LST hop ups though.

GPM's used to be pretty sought after as well.

I personally never had an issue, but I always ran non-stock tires that were quite a bit smaller on my aftershock. Smaller tires combined with RPM arms took away a lot of leverage and added a bit of flex. I also ran stock JR590M servos for steering. I did upgrade the turnbuckles all around to lunsford. Got tired of replacing the stock ones every other tank from snapping the ends off.

If you're talking about the steering link, try the BAC HD one.

Here's a side by side of the stock and the BAC link, the BAC is much stiffer than the stock.

Do you remember where you got the lunsford turnbuckles? I've never heard of them but I'm having the same trouble with the stock ones.

I broke the plastic part of the crank itself not the metal piece Schroe. I'll have to look around for an aluminum bell crank. :)

Thanks for the tips guys. I'm gonna be order RPM arms all the way around next weekend. :)

The lunsford turn buckles can be found on ebay. I just bought a pair for myself, I hope they are worth the 17 bucks I paid for them.

Hi greywolf74,

Would greatly appreciate if you can elaborate a bit what's breaking your bellcranks, i.e., jumping very high, hitting something at high speed run...?

Asking this cause I'm close to converting my steering to single servo (few parts away) and the plastic bellcrank are supposed to absorb the impact since I'll have no servo saver, hmm..

Lunsford Ti turnbuckles are highly praised by many, btw.

Also would like to add BAC link requires a lil modding to fit (haven't received mine yet)

I bought the Lunsford turnbuckles for the fronts of my XXL and my LST2-E...I will do the back eventually if I break the stock ones but it always seems to be the fronts so far that break. They were a little pricey to go all the way around both kits.

Jumping really high and landing wrong is what always breaks my MTs. Thats what took out my bellcrank and thats with servo savers on it. If I break it again Ill go aluminum. GRP has some nice looking red ones that will match my LST2-E
