i was planning on getting a nitro stadium truck and was wondering which one to buy, a team associated rc10gt or a xtm x-cellerator:ponder2:

The xtm is a great truck at a great value, and pretty durable too. It's a very capable racer as well. It's tranny is geared pretty fast too, much like the xxx-nt tranny. I say, if parts are readily available, go with the xtm.
But the RC10GT is a great truck too. Just needs a bit more upgrades outta the box IMO. Unless you get the FT truck. Great racer, durable, slower than the xtm though.

What are you looking to do with the truck though? Race or bash? and are you looking at the RTR versions or the racer kits of both?

Ill go the other way and recommend the GT. Its solid, parts are available most everywhere and there is a lot of help available. With the new GT coming out soon? there are a lot of great deals on used GTs that are already hopped up. Ill suspect that the new kits that are around should drop in price soon as well.

The GT is the all time best selling ST and there is good reason for that. You wont find a more solid or better supported platform.

Toss me in for another vote for the GT. It's a solid little truck that's easy to work on. Any given part can be accessed by a maximum of 6 screws. Parts are readily availlable, and it's very quick with the right engine.

i will be using it to bash mostly and i am looking for a RTR version

Well, for bashing and RTR, it's a close one I say. The RC10GT is gonna be tougher, but the xtm is gonna be faster.

which one has more upgrades like high performance exhaust, alum. parts, etc.

RC10GT Byfar...
I like XTM. But if you want to upgrade, you're SOL. Not much out there.
Great for bashing though.

I say RC10GT2 since they have improved the first with better quick release rear axles and the reat battery box. Lots of support for the either OEM or Aftermarket.

You have to use your head and get what you want, but make sure you can get parts for when you crash. And you will.
Team associated is a top seller, and almost every hobby shop has parts for it.

get a rustler
...... no

Get associated and not have as many problems/breaking parts as the others. A lot of people on here have had them and loved them. The upgrades are endless, if you decide to race, you're in luck. And, this thing can take a serious beating. I NEVER broke even 1 part on mine. Highly recommended. I'd have to agree with Jon2 and get the GT2, but if that is a problem, dont hesitate to go with the GT.
