looking for a little info on this buggy I have checked out fast eddy's site but its not there I had a little trouble on xtm's website, does anyone know where I can get this manual online?? thanks

Post what your specific problem is. Many people have XTM buggies on this forum.

If you are just looking for the manual just to have it, I know Retarded Pilot has a new XTM buggy. Maybe you can be real nice and ask him to copy it and send it to you!

I may be able to help. I have had two XTM Buggies but no longer have the manuals, or else I would have sent you one.

thanks for the offers, I am just a little hesitant to take it apart as the screws are all sorts of different lengths, other than that I just need to figure out a good servo to put in it, any suggestions, I don't know if I need something with a LOT of torque like those designed for the MT's or something faster, I do know it will need metal gears tho
right now I have the front end off b/c when I bought this PERFECT buggy the front shock tower was cracked and the differential was SHOT I will post pics of all the gears later on

well here is the condition that the front end wound up looking like on the PERFECT NEVER BROKE ANYTHING buggy I got a raw deal :argue:

Sorry about the deal ya got. They are a great basher buggy. No oil in the diff? I think I put one in mine since I had it. (year and a half) Here are the parts you need. http://www.hobbypeople.net/gallery/149422.asp

Here is the manual. http://media.hobbypeople.net/manual/145601.pdf I had problems downloading it the first time. Adobe was trying to update and had to restart the computer after that. Takes a minute or 2 to download. Hope that is all that is wrong with it.

I got an e-mail back from a guy trying to get some parts, maybe he's just trying to get me to leave him alone, but he said that these have been discontinued anyone heard anything about this? can anyone confirm or deny this??

The XTM Buggies have been discontinued. Hobbypeople have a few of the regular edition buggies left, but not many. XTM is coming out with a new buggy that is supposedly going to be a better racer than the X-Terminator. I dunno why they would discontinue the X-T before they came out with their new one but owell.

I got this info off of the Global Forum, so I am pretty sure it is valid.

I think they said it would be out before christmas but I have seen no pics/vid/info on it yet at all, only what I have heard on the Global Forum.

well I guess the question is do you guys think I should sell it??

If it is only the diff issue, keep it. It is known to be a strong buggy. Guy before you must have really flogged it to hurt it that bad. And knowing XTM/Hobbypeople, they will stock those parts for awhile to come.

Although I never had problems with diffs, the biggest problem with the XTM buggy is the diffs. You should be able to fix those diffs up and it will be fine. The X-Ts are built like tanks and can take quite a beating.

I read some of the posts AC48 is talking about.

If the diff is the only problem, keep it. If they are going to discontinue it, don't worry. You will still be able to get parts for sometime. Besides that a lot of the parts from the mammoth, st, xlb, and the x-factor are the same. If we are lucky, all the parts on the new buggy might fit.

Dude!!!! I am really sorry about the diffs and what ever else broke, but I SWEAR TO GOD!!!! It worked 100% perfect right before I shipped it to you!!! I would not have sold it to you if it was broken!!! I am sorry for all that happened, but as you described it, NONE OF THE PROBLEMS WERE THERE WHEN I SHIPPED IT! I swear dude, and I'm really sorry if you're upset, but you have to trust me. I am not that kind of person to sell broken things. please don't trash me for something that wasn't my fault. It looked exactly like the pics when i sent it. :( sorry for what happened :sorry: Ill try to help you out as much as possible

you can even check my ebay feedback if you want. ericg233, I have never sold anything in under great shape.

i have a diff but the center output is broken off, but most of the pieces are there. It may have what you need. If you know what pices you need I will send them to ya if i have it....just pm me if you would like.

ummmm... all that I need for the diffs are those 4 gears inside it, what is this style called I am only familiar with the savage differentials, do you all know what the advantages/disadvantages are of these, if any

buggy racer, dude I KNOW you would not try to screw me in any deal just by the way we dealt with one another and the way you conduct yourself here on the site you are a good person, I haven't driven it yet.... kinda pissed about that but its not a big deal about the diffs just disapointed, not mad... if you don't have the manual thats fine, I downloaded the thing off the net, and right now I am just thinking about picking up a new diff on e-bay, but wanna, if you have the parts that I need I would be glad to donate to your R/C fund if you don't need them anymore, all that I need are those 4 little gears that you see in the pics, and those are all pieces of the teeth.
