Ok here I go.:contract:

i am kinda new to the nitro end of the R/C world. I have an older model T-maxxx and decided to get the XTm .21 Conversion and XTm 24.7 together for around 175.00 didnt think it was that bad of deal. (SG shaft engine)

Well my problem is the motor shaft (once again new to nitro engines so no real technical terms) I put all the parts off the T-maxx engine on to the 24.7 like it said but I have like a 1/4 of inch left on the shaft........Am I doing something wrong whould I cut it or what??? Pics would be great......

And looking forward to when I get everything back together (with work and everything not too soon). The break in of this engine as far as Glow plugs and fuel and running it for the first few tanks.

Thank You All Very Very Much!!!!!!!

I dont think the XTM Conversion kit comes with the engine. Otherwise $175 is way too cheap. The engine itself goes for over $100. You better check your items again.

i had the same problem with mine. u have to take and cut the shaft down a little bit. just make sure u dont do it too much or u will mess it all up.

If you have a dremel this is easy. Put everything together and then use a sharpie to mark the shaft. Cut on the other side of the mark so you have a little extra. Then switch to a grinding attachment and get it nice and flush to your mark. :)

he has a sg shaft can you still cut those???? I was under the impression that you can't..............

Well I could be wrong. I assumed that you could any shaft to fit. I may be incorrect then....

you can but only to a certain point. because if u go too far the screw hole threads will be cutting out and then u can't put the screw that holds everything on it in.
