Looks very cool.
Pick one up at: RC-Mushroom

Yeah I know, However the thread had died before the buggy was accually released. Just letting you know it is on the market.

The XB8 looks like a nice buggy, but I was not very impressed by its performance at the worlds and it is over priced. I think I'll stick with my Hyper 7!!!

I wouldn't say its overpriced compared to a Kyosho Kanai 3 or the MP-777 Special 1.

So what exactly was the preformance at the worlds?

Why would you decide on a buggy by how it did at worlds? The best drivers I'm sure arent driving this buggy and thats what matters most. I'm sure this could be rigged with a racing engine, tuned for the track it's going to compete on, and rank right up there with the top competitors if it had the right driver. I don't know much about this xray but it looks pretty solid from the pictures, has anyone gotten a chance to run it?

Spatulator, your right about the driver ,but lets wait and see what zappa say's
maybe he is talking about the duribility of the buggy. You can have the best driver in the world but if the buggy has week spots and keeps breaking .It wont matter how good the driver is.It does look duriable, but looks can be deceving. I think I heared someone say that it keeped breaking knuckles ,but I'm not sure of that info.

The buggy looks solid to me and since it is an XRay I'm sure it is as solid as it looks. From what people are saying it is very adjustable and very light. Give it some time in the hands of the regular racers and then we'll see how it stacks up.

Sells for $650 at RC-Mushroom and many LHS that stock Hudy/XRAY lines.
