Eddy, tell your social director that no matter what happens this weekend you WILL be doing it wearing her thongs on your head. something tells me the guys at the track will understand more than the people at whatever she has planned.

both my summer and winter track are about 30 minutes away, too bad they arent in the same spot like yours.

hey broken,
there is a money race at Pine Run Raceway in jersey shore, Pa on Nov. 20th if you want to get that POS mugen dirty. jersey shore is very close to Williamsport, Pa, FYI. psunitro and i will both be there.

http://www.pinerunhobbies.com/Contact info.html

thier web site sucks, but the track is supposed to be sweet, indoor 1/8th scale. there will be a minimum of 40 guys there.

hey psi...that temp guage u have ...i was looking at their brochure and it says max temp...is it at max read always or is it only max temp at button push?....does it read current temp mostly?....

I'm a lucky guy when it comes to Wife V. RC.
She has never ever ever said no to anything regarding my hobby addiction. As a matter of fact she fully supports it. This however it does come with a price. Above and beyond her shoe and handbag addiction, I need to do things she wants to do upon occasion. We are going to the city (SF). to see the Lyon King on stage. Lets see here, NITRO or a bunch of freaks dressed up as cats prancing around on a stage. Hmmmm. Think I can wear the thong on my head to the theater?

Its worth a try!

just got off the phone with ben and steven ...payment is made fellas...add me to the list of new xb8 owners....wooooohoooo

wouldnt worry about a pipe for the low end on an rbws7II, they dont really have any,

Mike I know that the Ws7II isn't known for it's low-end but I just wanted to experiment with a couple of different pipes to see what I can get out of it, and I also heard that the Jp-1 makes a good combination. Husky welcome to the club, you will certainly be getting your moneys worth with this buggy as far as quality I now know why they call it a luxury buggy.

HAHAHAHAHHA ,, looks like sun today and probably nice and clear tomorrow..... wow guess ill have to be all by my lonesome for X-rays.. shame shame to......

I'm broken has to come over to pick up his lid to, so make sure when you guys go out to delta I know so I can bring his lid.. *grin*

I chatted with the owners at Delta (yes the new ones and yes the new ones that race 1/8th scale only *grin*) , and the new outdoor season next year will be in between the size of hemet and KZ speedway, so next years outdoor track will be huuuuuuuuge... definitaly can get used to having a large well maintained track like that around......
the indoor season is right around the corner,, december is when it starts up,, and about 90 yards of dirt is sitting there waiting to get "formed" from what Kraig says...anyhow , gotta go build a car , lates!!

Now I'm really mad!
My social director has made other plans for me this weekend. I WANT TO RACE!
If it continues to rain I wont feel so bad for myself but thats selfish.

Imbroken,
You know I have an extra room here with your name on it as well as an extra RC parking spot in the garage. Any time Man, any time!

The RC track is about an hour and a half away. Its a bit far but at least we have one thats open close to year round. They actually have 2 tracks. A large one for summer time and a smaller covered one for the winter.

Here are some updated pics of my XB8, I am building the shocks right now and then it will be about complete. I can't wait to drive this thing!

I got it from a LHS for the full retail price $89.95, when I was looking around for it online no one had the hardcoat version. I think nitrohouse has them now for $72.

Thanks gentlemen..

I'm 99% done with the build minus a pipe and a dead battery pack.
I sent an e-mail to XRay 2 days ago but haven't heard back from them as of yet.

have you tried posting on thier forum. your also supposed to take defective parts back to where you got the kit. they should give you new parts, and the store will be credited by xray usa.

The 2 places I contacted didn't have the parts in stock. One was where I got the kit and the other is a LHS that carries XRay.

On their forum it states not to post about replacement parts and to send an e-mail to XRay. I may just have to go buy another battery pack if I want to run soon. I don't mind hanging loose as long as know whats going on. Hopefully I will hear from them soon.

Fasteddy, email RCAmerica directly or call there 1800 number as I did and they will send you out another battery pack! Mine was dead too and they sent me a new one. All they ask is to send them in your bad one.....

I also got the hard anodized JP-1 pipe, NICE

I called them today to arraigned to get a new one.
I ordered a JP-1 pipe today from E-Bay I chose to get the chrome plated one instead.

Once I get it up and running I may get a JP-2 as well. From what I understand the 1 is great for low to middle and the 2 is designed for middle to high.

Its nice to have a growing crowd of XB8 users.

Did I hear right? The XB8 comes with a battery pack? What other oddball goodies do they include, besides the Hudy tools?
