Not many parts are interchangeable Between the two. The only ones I've successfully used are the shocks off of the X-Ray on my 18t.

Slap in a brushless setup, and it's going to be a tie. Getting parts, perhaps the Associated model, as you can get parts from any shop that deals with either Great Planes (tower hobbies) or Horizon.
