Does anyone here have an X-Factor? I want this truck but don't want to end up w/ another T-Maxx money pit. Anyone have any comments on durablility or speed?

Thanks

I've seen that truck in action, & from what I'm told by the owner, it's more of a Rock Crawler/Articulation truck. It has a higher center of gravity than other MT's but it looks to be a nice all round truck. If your into the rock crawling, the electrics are what you want.

i like the crawling but hate the electrics so I thought that this would be a good comprimise. Do you know if the truck can survive moderate jumping?

Say it with me now, MONEY PIT WITH NO BOTTOM!! I had one and after less than a gallon I gave up. You want to know what problems I had right, trans, front and rear axels, drive shafts, and when you crash into anything it will take out the front end like nothing. It is not made for jumping either, if you try to push straight down on then suspension it it is very stiff, but if you just pick up on one wheel it will come off the ground like 7 inches with the other wheels still touching, so liken Imbroken said it is made for rock crawling cause the suspension has lots of articulation. I have never owned a Tmaxx but i have seen them go thought ten times more than my xfactor could. It is fast and can do wheelies like nothing though. I think I paid $430 for mine new and with in a week had already spent another $100 at least in parts and repairs. Oh about the drive shaft I had one go out on me on the 5 or 6th tank of breakin, so there went $30. So in all I spent about $550 on it, ran less than a gallon through it and sold it for less than $200.00.

The 24.7 motor that comes with it is great though, if you want to jump get a savage.

Ok, I guess I won't be getting this truck since I found out that it was auper weak in everything e/c crawling. The main reasons i was looking at it was he fact that it was something different and that it was kind of cheap (379).
Thanks

that is why i bought it cause it was cheap and looked like a real monster truck. so you do get what you pay for it was cheap and cheaply made. Oh one more thing to convince you even more, if you were to replace 99% of the screws on that truck with an aluminum one, that would be an upgrade in strength.

LOL your from Kentucky, I bought the xfactor here and went up to Murry, KY to visit a friend and that is where that truck broke on me for the last time, I crashed tore the front end out and that was the end of that truck for me.
