X-Box or PS2?

6 months later I'm still having a ball. I haven't been a total junkie and bought a ton of games. Just enough to make me happy. I totally loved HALO and anxiously await HALO 2 which has been on an endless hold. I can imagine how awesome that will be. To get my primal urge to kill things satiated, I bought Rainbox Six 3. And to fill my need for speed, I have Project Gotham Racing 2. I think Rallisport Challenge (or whatever it's called) will be next. My last purchase was MX Unleashed which is just hours of fun. So I would say that I'm very satisfied. I did hear rumblings of late that there is a PS3 and an XBox 2 in development and near release. I don't know how that will change things. But I like my Box....

I have all 3 consoles, Scottm that is the best choice imo! BTW New games that just flipin rule are Ninja Gaiden (yes like the old school one), and Splinter Cell (2) Pandora Tomorrow or some shiet like that.

Two great games I have played since my last post are Ninja Gaiden and Fight Night 2004.

Be careful with Fight Night. I managed to destroy an S controller because of its "Total punch control"

Anyone else here getting annoyed with bungie delaying the release date of halo 2? I've had it reserved for almost a year now

I love their explanation. It will be released when it's done...
It better be worth the wait. Unfortuately with all the expectations and delays, they really have to step up with something insane or their gonna catch a lot of heat... I'm going to wait for the initial reviews before I buy just in case it's a turd...

well I've seen tons of demos on it and it looks like its going to be a great game the multiplayer looks way better than the original

I have seen the top of the mountain, and it is good. Bungie knows what they are doing. I just received my latest Xbox Magazine and there was a 6 page article about Halo 2. All I can say is WOW.

I don't remember ever hearing Bungie give an exact release date for Halo 2. Sure they have said Fall of 04 but thats it. On 5/10 they annouced that November 9th will be the release of Halo 2.

The only thing I have to say is Halo 2 + Xbox Live = :cloud9:

I checked Best buy yesterday and found the deal for me: The Halo version Xbox (green box with green controller, packaged with Halo game w/previews of halo 2) $169, plus Best buy "halo" controller closeout for $10 more. I'm going back to pick it up tonight.

I bet you'll play Nemo more than the kids. I bought SpongeBob SquarePants for the kids and got myself quickly addicted to it. Couple that with HALO and we won't hear from you for months. LMAO. I can't wait to drive the Warthog in Halo 2. The article in the Xbox magazine said they have completely revamped control to give it a more realistic drive. If I remember correctly they mentioned Bungie brought the guys who made TOCA 2 in just for this.

I loved driving around the hills with two marines in the warthog with me. they kicked ass. The guy with the sniper rifle was hilarious.

The preview of halo 2 on my halo disk looked awesome. It is back on earth, battling the covenant. You can jump onto their flying air car things and kick the alien out - it looks great.
