I like both, X Box does have better graphics though. Anymore I just play the hell out of Battlefield 1942 online on my computer. If you want to get down to it, computer games have the best graphics, that is if you have a good set up.

Maybe it's the games you choose to play have better graphics, Not saying anything bad about any system. Just a thought.
Like I said, I like both. I just traded my Playstation for my Mugen MTX 2 and I will tell you the truth, I miss it alot. Playstation has great graphics as well. Face it, both of them rock and both will eventually come out with something even better.

Yes it has better graphics no one is disputing this fact. What we are saying is that for the best gaming experience over all, do to game selection, and convenient, you can’t bet the PS2 at this time, next year how knows.
I bought the kids a GameCube for Christmas this year. We already have a PS2. The X-Box is a sweet platform with some bad ass graphics.
The GameCube has some nice titles. Metoid Prime, Zelda - The Windwalker and that Star Wars game just to name a few. Most of the GameCube games are highly refined and have excellent sound and graphics.
I think it depends if you're a big kid or a little kid. I have little kids and many of games for the GameCube are geared towards them. If you're a big kid, go for the X-Box. Hand down, it's the best technically and has more games geared to the older gamer.
Anyway, I just couldn't let the thread go down without CandyMan knowing all the sides. I just broke my RC threads only vowe -- damn!

Hey Candyman. One of the best racing games (IMO) for the Xbox is Project Gotham Racing. Very sweet game. PGR2 just came out last week. I am hoping to pick that up next week. The biggest difference it PGR2 is Live comptable. It also has new cars and levels.
Another game I just picked up is Dungeons and Dragons: Heros. This is a very sweet and addictive RPG game.
Dynasty Warriors 4. Two thumbs up.

Hey Mcvickj that pic above is from Project Gotham 2. The game is great I deffinely reccomend picking it up. I am waiting for December to roll around as the Sega GT online expansion for Xbox is out. If they make a game (I.E. Madden or any other EA title) for both the XBox and PS2, isnt the gameplay the same?

I liked Sega GT more as it is more like a Grand Turisom game. I like to customize the cars as well as hop them up. The whole garage this is what I am into. Not to discount PGR as it was meant to be different than that.
Man Have you guys played Midnight club racing or Need for Speed Underground? Those are awesome games!!! they actually modeled real cars to put in their games not fake wanna be's !!!!
I am tired of hearing people say " PS2 has so many more games" ..yeah but do you really play all those games? NO! Xbox is coming up!! I modded a used xbox so it now has a larger HD ( 120 gig) Now it'll hold all my games!!
Granted PS2 is an awesome gaming console but I prefer the X-box!

Yeah I would for sure have to say that I'm all about the XBOX. I've had a PS2 and think the XBOX is what I will own in the future. Not saying it's the future of gaming or anything but I like the XBOX has better graphics n'stuff. Later
how many years has the xbox been out now? and its "ime is coming shortly" rofl. anywyas, yea, ps2 allways ges the cool games, grand theft auto series, gran TURISMO SERIES, SOCOM series, etc. and yes the gameplay beween the systems is the same, except going from ps2 to xbox because the xbox has a screwy control. also, if anyone has played halo on xbox it has a pretty good control scheme doesn't it, for a console anyways, thas the same way with socom 2.

I have both. Both are great units. x-box live you have to pay for. playstation you dont. I have a friend in the industry that tells me playstation 3 is on the way!? watch out .

State your opinion and leave the lame invisible "gang signs" where they belong ..in your pocket playing pool like usual

I say PS2.Both systems are really awsome but I just prefer the PS2 over the X-Box.The game selection is not really an issue anymore.It's not like when PS1 and N64 came out(Resident Evil=PS Zelda=N64).Those consoles had "exclusive" games that you could only play on one or the other so you picked the system with the better games.The PS2 and X-Box share most of their games now but their are still a few exclusive games.Mainly the ones made by Sony and Microsoft(Grand Turismo=PS2 Halo=X-Box).I've seen the X-box in action I have to say it has awsome graphics,better than PS2 but has anyone seen screen shots for GT4???They compared the real cars and scenery to the game versions and I couldn't tell the difference.Games like SocomII,NFS Underground,ANY Grand Turismo or Tony Hawk,GTA3,Vice City are all awsome games for the PS2.I'll bet it won't be long before they are all released for X-Box just like GT# and Vice City.
