Wrong parts!

I went to the LHS to get my bulk head and skid plate for my XXX nt and they were wrong. The top looked the same but the skid plate was wrong. My parts say rtr so I figure I got the kit parts. I hope I dont have to order them if I can even get them. Talk about a big let down,the .15 started on the first pull after I blew in the tube in the muffler to prime it. Still out of commision.

I'm going back today and hopefully find my part needed. Its so close but no cigar, Also I found whoever had the car before me (bought used from the shop) liked to strip screws. Oh well, thats part of the trip right? Ill be on the road soon, Thanks

I had a XXX-NT many years ago and the XXX-NT RTR and non RTR used pretty much all the same parts. The difference was things for the kit that were alloy were hard anno'd and a lot of the parts had "GRAPHITE" stamped on them. But otherwise, they bolted right on.

You sure you didn't get the front bulkhead for the XXX-T? I did that a few times when snagging a part off the wall at the LHS. Sucked to get home (40 miles later) and realize I nabbed the wrong part.

I've done that before too. I HATE that. Very aggravating for sure.

Olds is 100% correct. If they are xxx-nt parts they should fit, whether they were for the rtr or the kit. My first xxx-nt started life as the rtr but ended up with many drake parts on it, and they were all direct fit parts. I am thinking you probably did what Olds mentioned and bought xxx-t parts rather than xxx-nt parts.

I think I got the electric car part. I ordered the right part, put it on and am ready to rock. Hopefully ill be able to run a few tanks tomorow!!!!!!!!!!!
