WOW!!! Holly Blast From The Past....

So I've been hhelping each of the bosses. He moven the end of the yr. Helped him move stuff out to the pod box he has. And over weekend helped him tare down his pool and the deck.. So yesterday he hands me a box.. HOLLY SH*T there's a Original 1984 Team Associated RC10. And a 1986 original Tamiya Blackfoot. In the box.. not sure what to do with the RC10. Might clean it up and put in a glass box..got all books with it and extra parts.. I'm blown away.....its official Blackfoot is in pieces but will put it back together over the next week or so. Need to fix the body it has a crack in the fender
Oh it's going to so much fun rebuilding and fixing this Blackfoot. I am brought back to being 10yrs old again. Loving it.....

Yea ,had those too along with an rc Norvel 061 engines ,use to fly the Cox foamy planes ,an a OS 15 size!..

I am so jealous Stoner. That RC10 is the nearest mint RC10 I have seen since I was still chasing girls. It's like going to a barn and finding a 65 Mustang GT sitting there with 25 miles on it. Helluva score bro.

Thanks guys yeah I was shocked by it. I still am really was searching for parts last night. Which are crazy $$. Buy found original wiring and speed control. For it.. they also have a set of black plastic for it instead of the white not a big fan of white...

Yea man not one scratch not even the plastics.. I'm blown away by it. I was told it was ran 3 times in a baseball Feild across from his house as a kid... would love to find original body for it.. this electric set up is crazy though thats for sure. I would be scared to run this. For fire reasons... probably going to throw in a castle set up in it...and the blackfoot as well...

You may need a chassis skid plate to preserve it. The old electronics might be fine but to be safe, you can remove it from the car. A 6 cell nimh would be perfect for it.

Edit: Just realized it’s an MSC, get rid of it, they get super hot.

I definitely thought about protecting the chassis. Might just make a full chassis skid plate for it, out of carbon fiber or something. And use stand off to mount it..The 6cell nimh might be perfect. The gears probably won't hold up to BL. Going to get a new Brushed/esc combo.
