If you want faster than change up your gearing.Or mabe go with the 2-speed conversion. The .32 will just tear up your spur gear.

Engine size has nothing to do with spur gear damage,, especially on a buggy or truggy.
Only two ways to get 50mph out of an 1/8th scale buggy. Brushless motor conversion with lipo batteries or a fully modded .21 race mill that can turn over 40,000 rpm's and a larger clutchbell and a lot of pavement to wind it out on.
Bigger size engines do not produce higher top end speeds. They produce a lot of torque in the lower to mid RPM range.
Buy a nice quality race .21 engine, you'll be surprised what they can do.
Controlling any r/c at 40 mph is exetremely hard. I've been in the hobby for years and I race competitively. 50 mph is a worthless expensive goal, good for nothing but bragging rights.
