A great video, which demonstrates all that is involved in getting one of the mini V motors working in an RC. It isn't for the feint of heart, he literally has to make his own clutch, from scratch, among so many other things. Just listen to that thing idle, simply amazing!

That truck is awesome, like he said, just needs to have some more gears for top end. Otherwise, what an amazing, solid build.

Those engines are amazing, and full of torque. It's just a matter of finding the formula of RPM vs torque and applying it.

I used lathes and Bridgeports in High School... that thing is NUTS!
Here's a hunk of tin... I'm going to make it do wheelies... WATCH...
I understand the rpm/speed/gearing thing but monster trucks are SUPPOSED to have STUPID low end power and GOOBS of torque!!! I think its perfect!
I LOVE THIS TRUCK!!! (I wouldn't HATE it if it did 70mph either tho!)

Yeah, good point. I think actually it sounds like his issue is it isn't shifting into second gear, or if it had a second gear, can't remember if he had a multispeed transmission or not.
