So remodeling the house and redoing my hobby room, house is an utter mess but getting ready for paint then laying flooring, what are you guys doing to organize your multiple (and unknown to the wife) vehicles, storage, work station, maybe a computer/small tv for some background noise? Its an ok sized room so i have some area to play with. Thanks guys!

And admin if this is the wrong spot feel free to more! thanks all.

My wife loves that I am in the hobby because it keeps me occupied and believe it or not "alive".
I have a large 16x10 ft room dedicated for just my hobbies and another small room for my firearms and reloading equipment.
Sharing your hobby would be a good thing if possible, my wife comes up with some awesome ideas and loves my rigs all over the house.

Mine likes the idea, the son and I bonding, along with his grandpa and uncle (dad started me when me and brother were young) trying to ease her into it, but taking care of her parents and working the 3-12's at our local plant, and other odd jobs we both do, she has her own craft room after the daughter moved, its entertaining but man it gets cluttered quick, the room is bare and she's painting it now ( i got kicked out lol)

I use a couple shelfing racks we bought from a department store and soon I'm going to build a tree to stack them on.
I think the last time I counted I have 18 rigs, 24 if you count my planes.

Man having an indoor space would be great! I get the unconditioned garage lol at least it’s a good place to start up the nitros.

This is what I build shortly after getting into RC. It’s a 144”x28” work bench with a 96”x16” auxillary bench for chargers and other small things.

I didn’t know it while building it but the XL workbench is soooo nice when you have more than 1 project at a time. I highly recommend an oversized bench.

It probably wouldn’t look great in a freshly remodeled room, but if your good with wood maybe some ideas!

we like the rustic look of things, and this remodel was actually from a tree that came throught and damaged the roof and floor before we got it, its a modular we moved on family property with a lil $ help, got paid off and now fixing stuff mainly, if i go with something similar gives her more ideas to paint, only thing i thing id change on yours is the outer border along where youll be standing, put like 1/8" think by 1/2" strippes (trim) down so things dont roll off, otherwise looks good

That’s a great idea, my garage floor is scattered with small nuts and bolts lmao

I learned a car in parts can really be 10 cars. They can't tell how many is there. 🤣🤣

I have an old shop falling apart. No clomate control. Mosquithoes by the 100's.

Of all the hobby room's I've seen shared on here, @Littlemotor's has to be the coolest. He will be along shortly to give you something to drool over I'm sure.

If I were to redo mine, I would probably go about it more like a studio than just a cluttered mess. I just accumulated too much stuff, way too fast and outgrew my room. I'd post pics, but it is currently a mess because I added a shelf and decided to rearrange everything, which will be a month long process I bet. But mine is nothing fancy or well thought out anyway.

But what I would love to do eventually is set it up more like a photo studio to at least post better pics when I do share stuff. My bench is always such a mess because I didn't arrange everything properly.

And another right here….. I start so many projects and get wrapped up in another pressing matter. I still have a bit of drywall to complete in this room.

The gas pipe just goes together and you fasten some shelving material of your choice to it, I used these little pipe support brackets.
