Strc lift kit for a scx10 chassis. Special thanks to @MVRCA for the jobbywing 1900kv combo that's gonna move this thing.

Below is the parts I'm starting with. Also included is some potential final products.

@majin and @xjtorc thanks for inspiring me with a new project I can't afford.

For the time being, scx10ii tranny, knockoff scx10ii chassis rails, and i have og scx10 open diff axles.

Are you planning on keeping it on leafs? I can assume not after seeing those chassis plates but that could be cool/interesting! lol

Those will be stripped. This project was one i gave up on at the moment. Might revisit it next winter.

Body is a New Bright "1/6" Ford Raptor. Didnt calculate but seems more 1/8.

This will be more of a large scale trail truck then a crawler, wont be beat on too much.

Axles will be Rc4wd or Axial, tranny I'm thinking ax10 2wd to 4wd selectable. I may get a dig just to power brake. Power I'm looking at Tekin, Castle 2400 or 3800.

I'm gonna get a set of XD 5 spokes in 2.2, unsure on the backup wheels. Paint I'm leaning on candy apple red.

Chassis will be axial, or the new Trx6 tow truck, shooting for Axial IFS up front.

Including a lighter and Traxxas slash wjeels as a reference. Last pic has...

So my dumbass put the motor way up there. Fixed it and also installed a servo. Damn near the same color as the ree aluminum.

The skid plate needs to be swapped so I can ditch this heavy tranny for a ax10. Might grab a dig if I can to go from 2wd to 4wd.

I also put a chassis brace above the tranny to mount a speed control.

I have ax10/smt axles. Looking at ar60 axles. They even come in aluminum. This thing is liable to fall in a sinkhole.

Found some discontinued Imex 2.2 puller dawgs. If the offset works they are being used until money is flowing better.

One step at a time buddy. It's how I roll. Money is tight for me as well. But this next month should see the rest of the stuff needed for the XXX-SCT resto arrive. Just need some standard hex speed bits, tires, liquid mask, and paint now basically to get going.

The weather has stopped me on the 6x6 because I need to step outside to primer the parts. And having about 8" of snow on the patio prevents that. But it should be warm enough to melt it soon.

So I feel you man. Really love seeing you back at it, especially on such a killer project. Never seen a crawler turned into a monster truck, and it makes perfect sense to build one on the SCX platform!
