my mgt 3.0 will start and idle but when ever i give it throttle it will not move

Does it stall or does it rev up and not move?

If it revs and doesn't move your slipper is usually the culprit.

If it revs up and the clutch bell and spur are NOT turning, it's inside the CB.

i was thinking i will have to replace the cluch but i have already put a goog bit of money into it

Clutch shoes are a regular wear and tear part. They are designed to wear out and be replaced. Pony up the money and git-r-done.

You should be able to find the clutch shoes on just about online hobby retailer, and at most local hobby shops. Associated is a pretty popular brand, and fortunately that means easy access to replacement parts.
