Unfortunately in my line of work, it is often the few that get held accountable for the actions of a few assholes, but generally it's not the same few...and then the many get bad press because of the few...for instance the handling or mishandling of prisoners of war creates problems for the rest of us...

I was reading a little ditty about the Hornet. They said there was in excess of 80 plains ready to go at any given time on a modern Aircraft carrier and others in repair.

As for the few bad people, just like any other issue they are the ones that get all the press and fiddlesticks up what the rest of them are doing thats good.

That is about right with respect to numbers of planes. Depending on which Airwing is embarked and what its composition might be, the number varies (only slightly).

SkyMaxx could you borrow one of their planes,and pick a bunch of us up and go bash? I'm sure the Millitary won't mind.

LOL...Most of those aircraft only hold a pilot. The only way you would be picked up would be by strapping you to a pylon. The other aircraft that have aircrew (like mine) are not the most comfortable for travel. Short trips and missions are okay...but the longer ones are no real fun.

oh c'mon I went from NYC to AZ to Tahoe w/ 3 dudes in a jeep w/ all our snowboard stuff too......drove straight through and had a blast....just make sure you all shower before we playsardines w/ all our nitro poop in tow....can we do that cool zip line thing for the exit.....can we huh huh

no trouble....but we did get pulled over and my buddy shoved a 2 day old box of donuts out the drivers window and asked the trooper if he wanted a donut....LOL....and we detoured a littel through loveland pass and rode the "back country" down the switchbacks along the highway....it was fun....stuff like that you have to do when you're young....I know even my daughter is moved out I won't go back to travelling like that again.....well maybe
