It also added that 20 medium range missiles with chemical weapons were found. This is a second hand report from NPR, but another encouraging one. I know mjime714 asked weather to be happy or mad. I say both. I guess a lot of people have been looking for a more concrete validation of what our troops are doing. And this can point the finger. As well as 20+ years of internal atrocities and bullying. I agree when many people have said that this regime is the most horrible since Hitler. And it's just like 60 years ago when if people had acted sooner, WWII wouldn't have happened. And be mad. I am. Because this shows so many diplomatic problems. Everyone was watching the UN. Thinking that the UN Security Council would present some rational, unbiased view of the situation. But ultimately it bowed to internal pressures and it's actions seemed mostly based on popularity contests rather than facts. I still don't see how we can look past 17 unheeded resolutions and still think this is a viable council. I found it funny that the UN wanted to convene an emergeny session today. Where were their sessions when millions of Kurds were murdered? It seems to like to look the other way when there are hoards of internal atrocities i.e. Bosnia and Africa. But if someone tries to do something about it, they get all up in arms. So be mad. But be more mad at those who have dedicated their political lives to looking the other way. If there were people of vision running these shows, this war would not be happening. Diplomacy would have worked.
